If an instance of Stratum Service you installed has issues, you may be asked to add parameters to the program used by the service. This is done by opening the configuration manager for that service from the directory where you installed the service. Then, adding the appropriate parameter (see below) to its Program Name field. The parameter can capture helpful information for use in troubleshooting issues when the service runs. Remember to restart the service after making this change. See also the topic Change Program Name Details For Service.
Stratum.Server’s Instance of
Stratum Service - add the debug parameter to the end of the path
specified for the Program Name. Include a space before the parameter.
Here’s an example of adding the debug parameter to the path for GICMDCTL.EXE:
C:\SILVON\SERVER\DTPROD30\GICMDCTL.EXE /db
Stratum.Connector’s
Instance of Stratum Service - add the process logging parameter
to the end of the path specified for the Program Name. Include a space
before the parameter. Here’s an example of adding the process logging
parameter to the path for Silvon.Connector.DataCopyProcess.exe:
C:\Program Files\Silvon Software\Stratum.Connector for Viewer\Silvon.Connector.DataCopyProcess.exe
/PROCESSLOGGING=1
