Time Mapping Details tell you the absolute, resolved time details for a Data Copy’s selected time range. For example, if you opted to copy Current Month sales data from Last Year into Current Month budget data for the Current Year, mapping details will display the corresponding absolute calendar month and year. Reviewing time mapping details also helps you verify that you picked the correct and intended point(s) in time to copy data from and to in Stratum.Viewer. In most cases, you will want one to one mappings where the same number of periods are selected for the source and target – such as copying from one week to another week or one month to another month.
To view time details, click the Time Mapping Details link in the Time Mapping tab for a Data Copy. The following example shows some mappings that copy data from 3 months of the Last Year into 3 Months of the Current Year. The details shown in the second image list the absolute time periods for each based Month involved in the copy.
