Dashboards or Individual items in them can be opened in a new tab while using them in Stratum Dashboards.
1. New Tab Right-click the dashboard name in the Stratum Dashboards Pane.
2. Click the ‘Open In New Tab’ option.
Each item, also known as a widget, in a dashboard can be opened in a new browser tab. You may want to do this to allow for more space to view the item or to focus on that single item.
1. While using a dashboard, click any item’s ‘Open In New Tab’ button.
If the item is a view or chart, it will open in a new tab. The view name, icons for controlling view features, paging icons for scrolling, and the View Filter section will display for the item. If your user options are set up to always display the navigation panel and / or view explorer when you run a view, those features also will display. Note that the view or chart runs in its most recently saved state which could be different from what you see within Stratum Dashboards. For example, if you drill to another level while using the view in Stratum Dashboards then click Open In New Tab without doing a save there, that drilled-to state won’t be reflected in the view that shows in the new tab.
If the item is a Custom URL Widget, the destination specified by its URL will open in the new browser tab.
